Why isnt chicago med on tonight

We always look forward to One Chicago Wednesdays. What is the case this week? Will Chicago PD air a new episode on Wednesday, April 27?

There’s some bad news for new episodes of all three One Chicago shows tonight. None of them will air new, and that includes Chicago PD.

It is going to be disappointing for those who are done with the constant breaks in the schedule. However, there is a rerun on. We get to rewatch the seventh hour of the episode, which sees the team try to bring down a drug ring. Voight brings on a new informant, introducing us to Anna for the first time.

Chicago PD is taking a week off mostly for the sake of scheduling. NBC has set the finale date, and there aren’t enough episodes in the season to get us through all the weeks left to the finale date.

May finales make a lot of sense. It’s what we’re all used to, and it’s also important for the tracking of live ratings. May is a big month for tracking to help advertisers decide which shows to support the most due to live viewers.

If there has been any delays due to pandemic protocols still in place in the filming industry, this break will also help. It will allow the editors to run through the finale episodes of the season.

When will new episodes of Chicago PD return?

The series is actually taking a couple of weeks off. NBC made it clear that new episodes would return on Wednesday, May 11.

This will be the last break of the season. There are three episodes to go, with the finale airing on Wednesday, May 25.

The good news is we know this won’t be the last season. Chicago PD Season 10 has already been confirmed, and we’re hoping for a more consistent schedule next year.

Next: How many episodes are in Big Sky Season 2?

Chicago PD is currently still available to stream on Hulu.

It’s One Chicago Wednesday, and we’re ready to check in with Intelligence again. Is that going to happen this week with a new Chicago PD episode?

We had a break last week, but is that going to continue this week? The bad news is it is. There isn’t going to be a new episode of Chicago PD tonight, Wednesday, May 4.

The good news is there is a rerun tonight. We’re heading back to the eighth episode of this season. This is the one that sees the FBI intensify its search into Roy Walton’s death. Voight, Upton, and Halstead all started to feel the heat, but would they break?

We’d found out in the promo for the new episode a couple of weeks ago that this break was coming. It’s all linked to scheduling at this point.

NBC has decided when the finale will air. There are three episodes left to run, but more weeks than that to air new episodes. That means reruns are necessary.

The new episode of the series will air in a week’s time. NBC made it clear that new episodes would be back on Wednesday, May 11. From there, we have a full run of new episodes until the finale.

The new episode will see Voight lead the team into a cold case. Why a cold case? This could have clues for a new crime. Will the two be related? This is going to have some personal connections to Burgess and Ruzek, who will gain new concerns for Makayla’s mental healing after everything that the young girl has faced over the years of her short life so far.
