Hello, I've read the information that worlds in game are small because of hardware possibilities. Ok. I understand, but there is no 2014, it is 2020! People have better computers, consoles and laptops, so I guess it is time to listen the community and make some updates: General: 1. Neighborhoods (not all worlds) should be without loading screens. I guess that 4-5 lots available at the same time will not burn our hardware when we have much more demanding programs and games. 2. World maps really deserves to better graphic layoute like below for example.  Worlds: 1. Windenburg is ok but it should have swimmable water. 2. Magnolia Pormenade definitley should have one more quarter to play. After years we can add restaurants, vet clinics and another commercial lots into that to make really useful commercial area. 3. San Mushyno - I think that it will be better if some buildings will have more available floors with apartments to live and some false buildings will be changed to lots. 4. Brindleton Bay - the same as Windenburg 5. Del Sol Valley - I love this city, but it is dramatically toooooooooooo small. More lots and districts are needed urgently. There is no feel of big city. 6. Newcrest - One additional district in the middle of map should be enough but some additional lots on North and South will be a nice improvement. 7. Sulani - it is ok in generally. Some additional lots will be fine, but it is not needed like in Del Sol Valley for example. 8* New world to Dine Out. Not big. Just something like current Magnolia will be fine to make unusual district with restaurants. 9* New world to Spa Day game pack. Also not big. Just small area to relax with waterfalls, spas and bars. 10* Seasons expansion pack world. I guess that it is really needed. I hope that EA and Maxis team will finally do something in this direction.
A developer for The Sims 4 Get Famous explains why the new game world is so small. Fans of the franchise had complained that Del Sol Valley, the game world introduced in the new expansion pack, doesn’t look as substantial as the worlds in previous expansions. The Sims 4 Get Famous expansion pack was announced last month, revealing that players would soon be able to turn their Sims into celebrities living lives of fame and fortune. When it launches on PC next month, The Sims 4 Get Famous will include a brand new game world called Del Sol Valley. The location will be split into several different regions including the hilltop homes of The Pinnacles the more affordable Mirage Park, and the nightlife focused Starlight Boulevard. After The Sims 4 YouTuber AvelineSims posts a screenshot of Del Sol Valley including lot sizes, the replies were flooded with complaints of the world being too small. Fans were so vocal about their disappointment, it seems, that The Sims 4 Get Famous development team has been forced to respond.
Writing in response to fan questions, global community manager SimGuruKate explained that “as we create more and more packs we have to be very thoughtful about game performance and this includes the number of lots/Sims.”
In a follow-up question about whether new game worlds in future expansion packs would also be smaller, SimGuruKate said “Not necessarily. But it definitely becomes a balancing act. And our amazing engineers are constantly at work on optimizing and improving performance.” In another reply, the developer added that “not every new world will be “large”. Some will be on the smaller side, while others will be on the larger side.” Understandably, many prospective players of The Sims 4 Get Famous are still unsatisfied with SimGuruKate’s answers. Especially as The Sims 4 Get Famous is not going to cost any less as a result of the smaller world size – in fact, the price of Sims 4 DLC has actually increased in the last year. The two pictures that are below show the two towns coming with the sims 4. Willow Creek For me this is still the biggest dealbreaker for the sims 4,things like toddlers and pools can be patched in later but I don't think the size of the world can get any bigger so it look like we are stuck with small worlds for the next five years.
