What to do with empty helium tank from Party City

Helium balloon gas bottles do not go in your rubbish or recycling bin despite a recyclable symbol appearing on some bottles. Helium gas bottles are a safety hazard to workers in ACT facilities.

Take (up to 10) for free recycling to:

• Mugga Lane Resource Management Centre

• Mitchell Resource Management Centre

Why?

These gas bottles are a safety hazard to workers in ACT facilities.  Recycle them responsibly.
