ABC/Byron Cohen Weezer has dropped a new song called “I Need Some of That,” a track off the band’s upcoming album, Van Weezer. The tune comes with all the guitar heroics you’d expect from an album called Van Weezer, which reflects Rivers Cuomo and company’s love for classic hard rock and metal including KISS, Rush and, of course, Van Halen. You can download it now via digital outlets. Van Weezer also includes the previously released singles “The End of the Game” and “Hero,” as well as the Bill & Ted Face the Music song “Beginning of the End.” The record will arrive May 7 after being delayed from its original 2020 release date due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Weezer have today (March 17) shared a new song, ‘A Little Bit Of Love’ – check it out below.
The song is taken from the first of four EPs that the band will release this year. Earlier this week, they announced full details of their long-promised ‘Seasons’ project that will see them release four EPs to correspond to each of the different seasons this year.
Each of the EPs will be released on the first day of every season and will feature their own distinct musical style.
To coincide with the spring equinox arriving on Sunday (March 20), the first EP in the series, ‘SZNZ: Spring’, will arrive on that day.
Taking to Twitter, the band explained: “This year we’re releasing 4 EPs inspired by magic, Pagan myths, religious rituals, Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons, Shakespeare & more (so much more). Each one will take you on an enchanting journey.”

Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo has offered up a series of hints of the project’s various musical directions over recent months.
He hinted that one of the four records will be inspired by Elliot Smith, while another will be inspired by Weezer themselves.
“Spring is kind of like happy chill,” he said of the imminent springtime EP. “And then we move through to dance rock, like a Strokes-style album for the fall.” He went on to add the aforementioned “Elliott Smith-style” album will be a “sad acoustic” release that will arrive for winter.
Elsewhere, Weezer celebrated their 30th anniversary last month (February 15), and promised fans: “We are nowhere near the end of our story.”
Weezer have released an uplifting new single called "A Little Bit of Love."
Jangly ukulele and harmonica get the tune started before broader instrumentation kicks in, as frontman Rivers Cuomo sings:

The positive vibe of the track continues from there, with Cuomo singing about rising above adversity and spreading joy to those around you.

The song arrives ahead of SZNZ: Spring, the first of four EPs Weezer will put out in 2022. Each release is inspired by the seasons, meaning the following EPs will be Summer, Autumn and Winter. SZNZ: Spring, appropriately enough, arrives on March 20, the spring equinox, a trend you can also expect to continue with the other EPs.

Weezer will be playing a handful of U.S. festivals — including the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, Boston Calling and Southern California's Beachlife Festival — before heading to Europe for dates alongside Green Day and Fall Out Boy, a continuation of their Hella Mega Tour.
Any discussion of the Top 100 '90s Rock Albums will have to include some grunge, and this one is no different.

Overview
The existence of the song was first teased via a Google spreadsheet shared by Rivers Cuomo on his Discord channel as well as on Riverpedia.[2] The sheet compiled various planned concepts for Weezer's upcoming album series SZNZ, listing "A Little Bit of Love" as the lead single for Spring. Cuomo later confirmed the song's placement as the lead single on February 18, 2022 via his Discord server. [3]
Cuomo uploaded a ten-second clip of the song on his Discord channel on February 25.[4] He uploaded the clip as part of a video on his Tik Tok account on February 26.[5] On March 1, the official Weezer YouTube account would upload it to their channel, under the title "Before you know it Spring will be here".
The song was officially announced on March 11, along with the announcement of SZNZ as a whole, with a release date set for the following Wednesday (March 16). An additional clip of the song was accidentally used for that day's Weezle puzzle before being quickly taken down.[6]
