just a hair over 3/8. U convert 5ths into 8ths ...2/5 = how many x/8..you cross mutiply and come out with 16/5.....then divide 16 by 5 which = 3 remainder of 1.....the 3 goes over the 8.....3.1/8 which is pretty damn close to 3/8
