Recently lost my job and am looking to cut some costs. I am currently paying WAAAAY too much for cable and considering dropping and going to Sling TV. My dad lives with me and is a die hard Lakers fan, who will quite literally lose his shit if he doesn't get to watch the games. Anyone else here use Sling TV and if so is game watching an issue? I'd rather avoid unleashing the beast that is my dad without his Lakers if at all possible. I know there was a big to-do a few years back about getting the games where I live but I don't follow enough to know whether it's still an issue and can't find a definitive answer in a Google search.

How to watch Lakers games on Sling TV

Few teams rival the storied history of the LA Lakers. They’re home to some of the game’s most iconic players in Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Kareem Abdul-Jabaar. The Lakers also won 16 NBA championships with their latest one during the 2019-2020 season, where they beat the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals four games to two. The following year, the Lakers finished in seventh place in the Western Conference, with a record of 42-30. The 2021-2022 season hasn’t had the best start for the team, seeing as LeBron James had to sit out a few games with an injured ankle.

For fans wanting to catch Anthony Davis and LeBron James’s quest to win another championship, streaming options will be the best way to watch Lakers live. These platforms will not charge you the high fees you will find with cable companies. Best of all, you can cancel most of these services at any time without penalty.

Ultimately, this guide will help you learn how to stream Lakers games.
