The world of Pokémon has been a growing phenomenon since 1996, when the first pair of video games came out in stores. Today, there are almost 900 individual Pokémon identified by the PokéDex and in this article, we are going to tell you everything you need to know about one of them – Gardevoir. Gardevoir is a dual-type Psychic/Fairy Pokémon introduced in Generation III of the core video games. It is the second and variant evolution form of Ralts and Kirlia, both introduced in Generation III; the second variant is Gallade, introduced in Generation IV. Budew first evolves into Kirlia, which, in turn, can evolve into Gardevoir or Gallade. It is weak only to Poison-, Ghost-, and Steel-type moves, and is super effective against Dragon-, Dark-, Ghost-, Poison-, and Fighting-type Pokémon. It is not immune to any moves. In this article, we are going to tell you all the information you’ll need if you want to breed a Gardevoir in any of the games. You’ll find out about its type, its powers, its strengths and weaknesses, its evolutions, and its moves. We’re going to focus on both the core games, as well as other popular video games based on the Pokémon franchise. Best movesetIn the Pokémon GO videogame, the best moves for your Gardevoir are Confusion and Psychic if you’re battling Pokémon in Gyms. Namely, this moveset gives you the highest total DPS and is, likewise, the best moveset for PVP battles. The official description for Confusion reveals the following: “The target is hit by a weak telekinetic force. This may also confuse the target”; as for Psychic, the attack is described as follows: “The target is hit with a strong telekinetic force to inflict damage. This may also lower the target’s defensive stats.” Weaknesses and CountersAs a dual Fairy- and Psychic-type Pokémon, Gardevoir is weak against Poison-, Ghost-, and Steel-type moves, and is super effective against Dragon-, Dark-, Ghost-, Poison-, and Fighting-type Pokémon. It is immune to Dragon-type moves, and resistant to Fighting- and Psychic-type moves. It receives normal damage from Normal-, Flying-, Ground-, Rock-, Bug-, Fire-, Water-, Grass-, Electric-, Ice-, Dark-, Fairy-type moves.
